Oathtaking of newly Appointed and Promoted NMIS Employees

Four newly hired Meat Inspectors III and one promoted Administrative Officer II (Budget Officer I) of the National Meat Inspection Service (NMIS) took their oath yesterday, March 11, 2025, at Training Room A, MITDC Building, Visayas Ave., Quezon City. The program began with Mr. Lamberto B. Dela Cruz Jr., Chief Administrative Officer, who introduced the newly hired and promoted employees: Ms. Maria Consuelo M. Roque, Ms. Marneth Y. Villanueva, Ms. Melissa F. Manansala, Ms. Angelica M. Llanes, and Mr. Eugene Mark S. Taclas.

1st FY 2025 Mancom Meeting

The National Meat Inspection Service (NMIS) commenced its 1st Quarter Management Committee Meeting on February 25, 2025 in Baguio City, Benguet with the theme "Embracing Change, Overcoming Challenges, Moving Forward Together." The 4-day activity aims to discuss the top issues currently faced by the Regional Technical Operation Centers (RTOCs), and the strategic directions of the Top Management. Additionally, included in the program is the planning for projects to secure additional funding for the continuous implementation of the mandate of the Agency.

On January 9, 2025, Undersecretary-Designate for Livestock, Dr. Constante J. Palabrica, attended the NMIS Executive Committee (Execom) meeting at Training Room A, MITDC Building, Visayas Avenue, Quezon City. The meeting served as a valuable opportunity to discuss key matters related to the implementation of NMIS programs for FY 2025.
